Coffeecology is a small batch specialty coffee roaster located in Hamilton Ontario.  We roast-to-order sustainable coffee for delivery to our household subscribers and retail partners.  We believe that business ought to be a force for good. 

Our mission is to effect positive change in some of the poorest regions in the world by promoting great coffees that are traded fairly and grown sustainably. 

All of our coffees are grown organically.  Our Cafe Femenino certified coffees support women led farming cooperatives and their communities. We have also been expanding our offerings of “Bird Friendly” coffees.  These are coffees certified by the scientists at the Smithsonian Migratory Bird Center to be grown organically using ecologically sustainable farming methods that provide a substantial shade canopy thereby fostering natural ecosystems. This in turn benefits migratory birds like the orioles, tanagers, and warblers you see on the trail.

Since its inception all Coffeecology home delivery trips have been made using emissions-free wheels, either by electric car or by bicycle. Our commitment to sustainable transportation options and healthy and active communities means that Coffeecology is for all things bicycle. So partnering with ONtrail is a natural fit.  Besides that, we understand that sometimes trail riders need a little coffee (as part of a well balanced fueling regime) to start their days.
