And that’s the plan! The 24 Hour Summer Solstice is a lap-based endurance MTB race where riders complete as many laps as possible over a full 24-hour period\, typically spanning the longest day of the year. You can race as: Solo (the ultimate test)PairsTeams (usually 3–8 riders in relay format)The goal: ride as much (and as fast) as you can before the clock runs out. The Night Riding FactorThis is what makes the event legendary. Riding between midnight and sunrise: Forces focus and mental disciplineFatigue hits hardEven easy trails feel technicalFor solo riders especially\, this is where the race is won or lost. Pit Area & Festival VibeThe atmosphere is part race\, part campground party: Music and cheering (especially early evening)BBQs and team hangoutsRiders constantly rotating in and outIt’s competitive\, but also very social. Albion Hills is all about fast\, rolling forest riding rather than steep\, rocky downhill.  What to expect: Smooth elevation changes (constant up/down\, not huge climbs)Hard-packed dirt and flowing singletrackBerms\, bridges\, and optional technical featuresIt’s the kind of place where you can keep momentum and ride for hours without stopping.
