Stories, trails, and

the moments in between.

ONtrail exists to celebrate and connect the mountain biking community across Ontario.

Every ride has a story.

ONtrail wants to help make, and tell each one.

ONtrail is a Hub for Ontario’s MTB Community

ONtrail is Ontario’s premier MTB media hub, connecting riders to trails thru interviews, trail info, and community-driven stories

We bring together events, rides, trail days, stories, and local organizations in one place — so it’s easier to discover what’s happening and get out on the trails.

Built by riders, supported by the community.

What we share

Ontario is home to an incredibly diverse mountain biking landscape, shaped by volunteers, clubs, builders, riders, and seasons that constantly change the way we ride.

ONtrail brings together:

  • Events and rides — races, trail days, clinics, festivals, and group rides across the province

  • Trail discovery — places to ride, trips taken, and terrain explored

  • Clubs and trail organizations — the people quietly maintaining access and keeping trails alive

  • Stories and media — photos, videos, and reflections from time spent on bikes and in the woods

Not everything here is loud.
Not everything is urgent.
But it all matters.

Why OnTrail exists

Mountain biking in Ontario has never lacked passion — but information has often been scattered.

Events live on club websites.
Trail days get shared in social posts.
Great trips are remembered by the people who were there.

ONtrail exists to gather those threads.

By bringing events, trails, and stories into one place, we hope to make it easier to stay connected — and easier to get out and ride.

A community-built space

ONtrail isn’t a governing body or an authority.

It’s a space shaped by the people who use it:

  • clubs listing events

  • organizers sharing rides and trail days

  • riders contributing stories and photos

  • friends pointing friends toward something worth checking out

It works best when the community participates — when information is shared, not siloed.

Supporting trails, quietly and consistently

Every trail has a backstory.
Usually it involves early mornings, late nights, and volunteers doing work that rarely makes headlines.

ONtrail aims to support those efforts by helping clubs and organizers reach more riders — and by encouraging people to give back however they can.

Support your local club.
Show up for trail days.
Ride with respect for the land and the people maintaining it.

How it started (briefly)

ONtrail began as a way to document rides and places we’d been.

Shaped by conversations, shared experiences, and a desire to keep Ontario’s mountain biking community connected, it grew into something broader.

It continues to evolve alongside the people who ride here.

Our

Riders

ONtrail’s riders love everything about this sport.

At any given time anyone of these incredible riders is on his or her bike, reading about bikes or working on one. It’s the major topic of conversation when we all get together. It’s the tie that binds us together.

Everything we do is focused on having as incredible an experience as possible riding on trail. But that’s what you get when the best mechanics, riders, theorists and jokers get together to shred. When that wealth of knowledge, experience, and stoke gets together you’re guaranteed to have a good time.

I guess if you can find a group of people who help nourish your stoke, you’d best keep riding on trail.
