The Trail Showdown at Horseshoe Resort, located in Barrie, Ontario, is a premier downhill mountain biking event that attracts riders of all skill levels. This race series offers an opportunity for both seasoned athletes and newcomers to engage in competitive racing in a supportive and community-focused environment.
The Trail Showdown features a rotating selection of downhill courses, each designed to challenge riders with a mix of technical sections, berms, jumps, and natural terrain.
ONtrail supports Canada’s commitment to Truth and Reconciliation and believe that it is our responsibility to listen, learn, and support healing. To that end we present this Land Acknowledgement.
The lands on which we build and ride originate from the history and modern traditions of the Anishabe, Attawandaron, Haudenosaunee and the Metis. As we gather on trail let us join in solidarity with our Indigenous brothers and sisters to respect the four directions, land, water, animals and ancestors. We thank the Mississauga of the New Credit First Nation for being traditional stewards of this territory.
